I answer your random, burning questions about life. Your life, my life, or life in general. ^^ Feel free to drop me a line. However, if I deem you stalker-creepy, I will not reply…
You may also find me on YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
As for design — this only refers to the image on the top, since wordpress is so un-customizable. Blaaah.
#8. amaimono
Image credit: My own photo of Rae’s mummy’s cupcakes. :)
Time: <1 hour
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS3
Brushes: Default brushes.
Drive: LADY BiRD x Son’i – Sweet Song
Inspiration: If you know something about me & my best friends, the cupcakes are symbolic. :) No matter what you think ’bout it, we think it’s cool. Also, I like sweet desserts–they make life sweeter.

#7. silencieux

Time: <1 hour
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS3
Brushes: None used.
Drive: Stefani Germanotta Band – Wish You Were Here
Inspiration: It’s funny how things they change / the clouds they part, rearrange… for me / faces are strangers tonight / I have no familiars to help me see / where is home / I want you to know / that I wish you were here. After a verse like that, my mind is just dwelling in silence. And fake nature.

#6. nothing’s bigger than LOVE

Image credit: More camwhorage, and roses from Sufen’s dinner service.
Time: <1 hour
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: None used.
Drive: My Favorite Highway – Bigger than Love
Inspiration: God is Love. Nothing’s bigger than Love. John 3:16 as living proof, yo. All glory to the Big Man up there–the victory of the cross.
This layout was set up in April, 2009.
#5. musicology
Image credit: My own camwhored photo. Oh, and props to Jon’s headphones.
Time: <1 hour
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: Default brushes to draw the heart.
Drive: Yolanda Adams & Donnie McClurkin – The Prayer
Inspiration: I love music, and apparently it defines my social profile wherever I go. I’ve realized how much music plays a huge part in my life, in every way possible. Songs loop in my head all the time. :) I’m grateful for the talent God has given me, and I want to let Him nurture it in the best way possible–by giving it back to Him. You know that line from the song “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Sixpence None the Richer? Now I’m walking alone, to the beat of a drum… Oh yeah. It holds true for me. If I’m music, someone’s got to be my lyrics at some point. ;)

#4 . Chinese New Year
Image credit: My own photos – last year’s CNY deco @ 1utama, poh-poh’s peony
Time: 2+ hours
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: None used.
Drive: 中島美嘉 – 愛してる
Inspiration: The irony of header #4 being the one for Chinese New Year is beyond me. Yes, it’s dark and romantic, two things you usually don’t think of when it comes to the normal, boisterous, food-filled new year celebrations. Maybe it’s because these two themes constantly recur in my heart. And maybe it’s because I don’t quite care about all the fakery and noise that goes on as well. The quote about clouds and flowers is an excerpt from an English translation of one of Chinese poet Li Bai’s poems. :) Pretty, isn’t it?

#3 . Christmas & New Year

Image credit: My own photo of the McCulloughs’ Christmas tree in 2006s
Time: <1 hour
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: None whatsoever.
Drive: Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas
Inspiration: Er, just a header to wish readers a Blessed Christmas & New Year. :) Simple thing. It’s so gaudy and colorful, augh.
This layout was set up in December, 2008.
#2 . papillon noir

Image credit: Moi. And a butter-flower that is my own creation. xx
Time: 2 hours
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: Credited to Vered, but I’ve lost the link to her site now.
Drive: Alexandre Mabeix’s La fleur et le papillon
Inspiration: I don’t know, I just wanted to use the butter-flower, which has been sitting in my design folder for years. It feels very uninspired, actually, and I don’t quite like it. I tried to have a gothic slash murderous look going, but I think I chose the wrong picture. The music I listened to didn’t help, because it was an instrumental piano piece which was very serene. Thought of some blah quote and slapped it on. This image will change.

#1 . love’s melody

Image credit: Moi. And a random googled diamonds website.
Time: 3 hours
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Brushes: Photoshop defaults.
Drive: BoA & Palm Drive’s Holiday
Inspiration: It was supposed to be a totally BLING and narcissistic layout, but that failed. Instead, it became a pretty, ethereal, haunting image–similar to my past works. The verse on the layout is Psalm 63:7.
