Knock, Knock
June 24, 2009
I wrote a song while studying, but I’m only going to share the first part of it up until the chorus with you.
Enjoy, s’il vous plait.
———————————
Knock, knock — who’s there? It’s me
At the door of your heart
Won’t you let me in?
Cuz you know I’m waiting
Knock, knock — don’t run, don’t hide
Throw away those locks
You won’t need the keys
You won’t use them no more
Cuz you & I were meant to be
Don’t try to play it cool
I can see that blush
I can see that rush
See baby, I’m not fooled
You can play it coy and close the door
But I know you’re right there waiting
You can play hard to get, and ask for more
But I know you’re lying
I love you, and you love me
See it ain’t that hard
So quit your games, come out and play
Baby, just open the door
Of the Sun, Moon, and Love

Just got back from my TCS rehearsal. I really enjoy singing, and I’m very thankful that God has blessed me with so many opportunities to sing since I returned home… I also love Miss Saigon a LOT. There are so many talented people in TCS, and it is truly a blessing to be able to sing and make music with them. I’m excited for the show in July–our opening night is already sold out!
On another note, the IMU Idol voting for semifinals closes the coming Wednesday. I was hesitant to join at first because I thought it would be a popularity game. It was unexpected how I managed to get to the top of the voting board by Friday… Thank you, you guys! I’ll do my best~ and sing this little heart out.
Also, I need a massage. I’m wayyy too tense for all this singing…
From Manual to Automatic

It’s certainly easier to do things. Just a click, and a new page appears, completely formatted and linked. But that takes away the challenge and self-satisfaction I derive from setting up and designing a new layout each time I do a major update on Freesia (which is, by the way, the actual name of my blog).
I just might get used to this. We’ll see.
(At present, I am talking to myself, because NOBODY else sees these posts, let alone knows about the existence of this alternate, test-drive blog.)
Egad!

I feel so outdated. Setting up this blog for my liking is wayyy too complicated.
Or maybe, I’m just too fussy.
I’ll likely move back to pitas if I can’t do what I like here.
