Je suis… Rin, or Jade Liew. To get the niceties out of the way, I should tell you that I am a 20-going-on-21-year-old female from Malaysia–though I may not look it. I took my first breath of life on the 8th of August, 1988–lucky me! A child of God since a young and tender age, I worship at SIBKLwith (most of) my family. There have been many strange and varied guesses about my ethnicity, but I assure you I am 100% Chinese, with the only mix being between a Hakka father and Cantonese mother.
Only senpai knows I’d like to rule the world, and I’m his princess. He’s supposed to buy me an island, where I can build my castle and begin my rule in a humble way. In a more realistic sense, I’ll settle for being a singer & paediatrician. My mind is a complex of daydreams, and in social settings I can’t really concentrate on details and specifics.
I’ve many passions, and feel like a single lifetime is insufficient to enjoy every single one of them to the fullest! Yet, I pursue what I can, and in the center of this myriad of changing colors is a constant light–the light of God that I choose to always dwell in. Human as I am, I will stumble areas of darkness and shadows during this journey, but these areas recede in lieu of the light that comes from above.
Plagued by an unearthly optimism, I take on this world and all it has to offer head on. In whatever you do, execute it with passion, zeal, and commitment all for the glory of God.
